PRINCIPLES OF CHILD CENTEREDNESS 1. Encourage hand on activities where children can explore and discover their own field of interest. For example:- Experiment with science instead of simply giving them facts. 2. Organise group activities where students solve their problems in a group where they find the opportunity to learn teamwork skills. For example:- experiment with group discussions on certain topics. 3. Create a classroom where students feel safe to express themselves and are read to take risk in their learning process without the fear of failure. For example:- trying to establish a friendly relationship with the students. 4. Celebrate and encourage their efforts and achievements no matter how small they are. For example:- Appreciating students with rewards for completing tasks. 5. Allows students to ask questions and explore topics of their interest. For example:- if a child is interested in space, incorporating space related activities into lessons will help.
