The principles of sympathy and cooperation refers to a fundamental concept in social interactions and ethics, suggesting that individuals and societies function best when they act out of mutual sympathy i.e., empathy and understanding and cooperation. The principles of sympathy and cooperation plays a significant role in various fields such as- 1. Sociology: It encourages social bonds and unity among communities leading to collective well-being. It can help the teachers understand how to build positive relationships with the students and improve their academic outcomes. It also can help the teachers understand the students’ diverse backgrounds. 2. Evolutionary Biology: Cooperation helps an individual for survival and their success growth. The study of the relation between evolved systems of knowledge and inferential and attributional biases as these relate to academic learning in modern society allowing the adaptation and improvement of the teacher-student relation. 3. Ethics: Adam Smith, have highlighted sympathy as crucial for moral judgements and social order. This principle includes mutual respect, open communication, understanding of the students’ behaviour and recognition of individual differences in ethical positions. 4. Connection: Sympathy fosters emotional connection while cooperation enables practical collaboration in shaping the teacher-student’s relationship. 5. Contribution: This principle states that the contribution should be genuine from both the sides without any biasness. The important factors are empathy and understanding that contributes to a positive learning environment in the classroom. These principles use guidelines that includes- a) voluntary and open membership b) educating, training and information. From the above mentioning, we can say that these principles helpin creating an environment for the teacher as well as the students where they are more likely to cooperate and also sympathise.The student teacher relationship that is formed in a positive environment can make a student feel supported in their educational journey.
